Program Curriculum
Story Structure
Explain beginning, middle, and end using a simple story (e.g., Jack and the Beanstalk) and Let kids identify these parts in another story you narrate.
Character & Setting
Discuss character traits (brave, funny, etc.) and have kids invent a character with unique traits and Teach how settings affect stories. Kids draw their favorite story setting.
Improv & Creative Thinking
Provide a story starter (e.g., "A magical book opened, and…") and let kids build on it and Introduce group storytelling where each child adds a sentence to the story.
Storytelling Techniques
Practice expressive reading with voice modulation for dialogue and Teach suspense by pausing at key moments and asking, "What do you think happens next?"
Original Stories
Guide them to outline their original story using a story and Assist them in writing or drawing their story and adding descriptions.
Showcase and Feedback
